Fashion week… every fashion and beauty lover’s dream, and we must admit that not even the all-star frows (which were pretty damn impressive right?) could distract us from the stunning hair styles that the models sported down the runway.

Here’s some of our favourites x

★ ★ Windblown strands  ★ ★

The girls of Topshop Unique rocked fresh and fuss free locks at London Fashion Week. Complete with minimal makeup, created a youthful look to contrast with the very posh and mature attire. The aim? to echo the fun of playing dress up with your mother’s wardrobe when you are young.

Cara Delevingne ditched her blow dryer and hair brush as she infused the look front row at Burberry prosum (Okay, so we do still care about the frow a little…).

★ ★ Knotted Buns  ★ ★

There were knotted buns galore both sleek and messy on the New York catwalks from Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg to Jonathan Saunders.

Paul Hanlon created a rugged knot for the Vera Wang show at New York Fashion Week with the intentional ‘slept-in’ look whilst Orlando Pita sculpted sophisticated knotted buns at the nape of the neck.  Luke Hersheson also slicked back the girls of Jonathan Saunders into knotted buns; but with a textured section left free.

Redken's Guido Palau however, took a different approach and placed the knot at the very front of the model’s head. Different, but we loved it. What did you think?

★ ★  Low ponytails ★ ★

We saw low sleek perfected ponys at Amanda Wakeley.

With some flyaway hair pulled free which prettily framed the face.

Whilst Orlando Pita created ultra-loose free flowing pony tails for Michael Kors after advising the models to wash their hair the night before and sleep with it still a bit damp.

Both styles ooze effortless x
